A neighborhood icon.

Das Mod, a Southern California Real Estate developer, wanted to build itself a headquarters a block from the Pacific Ocean. The brief was simple, "design a building for us that people give directions by". Working with the founder of Das Mod and their chosen architect we designed a building that could serve as an icon for the neighborhood while still paying homage to the historical Streamline Moderne architecture of the area... as a bonus, the front of the building also has a ramen shop.

Contributions: stakeholder workshopping, exterior and interior design concepts, layout, concept refinement.
